Currently Alfred Ward &  Son has assembled drilling prospects in Colorado, Nebraska and western Kansas.  I am interested in talking to interested parties who would  like to fund some good opportunities thru the drill bit.  Update: Prospects are now under lease. .

The Colorado prospects are fairly low risk and would be a good opportunity for a new investor to learn the processes of the exploration and exploitation part of the petroleum industry.  

Investments are treated a Joint Ventures, as an investor you own your share of the project, not shares in an unclear percentage of an oil and gas lease.  There are tax consequences and benefits to this type of investment, you need to talk to your accountant about these.
