I am pleased to announce that Alfred Ward & Son has purchased from Nance Petroleum, a subsidiary company of St. Mary Land and Exploration Company, a 75% interest in the Plains Field located in Washington County, Colorado. Nance had acquired the field in a purchase of the property of Choctaw II Oil and Gas.

Alfred Ward & Son has acquired a 50% interest in a unit in the Big Beaver Field. Alfred Ward & Son now owns and operates the majority of this field. Big Beaver has produced over 9 million barrels of oil.

A discovery we were involved with a few years back now has a been confirmed as a field discovery. Our second well is proving to be successful and a development outpost from it has also been successful. It is now expected that this one well field will grow to six or more.

I have been gas testing our discovery south of Sidney, Nebraska and it appears to be economic to hook these wells to a gas system and sell the gas.

I am pleased that in conjunction with J-W Operating and others that a developmental shallow gas location in the Buckboard field is successful and confirms the computer modeling that has been done in the area.

Alfred Ward & Son has re-entered an abandoned well in the Peetz Table Field. The well is classed as a developmental outpost as it has skipped one drilling location. The well has been completed and information is being withheld at this time.

Our Peetz Table Field has grown by one well with the moderate production coming from the re-entry.

In partnership with Petron Development Company, the completion of the Al Ward 1-17 further extends the production of the Yuma County, Colorado Buckboard field.

Another completion of a Peetz Table well. This well is being somewhat of a mystery and is not living up to the potential expected from an infield well.
